Whilst the collections could be of a regional nature,they initially will feature Class 52 Western Hydraulic locos.
About Me
Enjoying early retirement.I have been taking railway photos since 1972.Regret not having made more of the end of steam,I concentrated on the demise of the class52 Westerns and now have moved onto digital work. I continue to enjoy travelling the country and whilst the variety of motive power and the character of our railways have changed there is still much to see.I hold no pretensions about the quality of my photos and I leave it to people to be judgmental.I am fortunate that I was able to record a wide variety of motive power amidst an infrastructure that is rapidly changing.I admire the work of modern photographers who have to be inventive to be different.I have had a number of photos published in magazines such as Traction,Backtrack and Todays Railways. It is rewarding to see your own work in print and I urge anybody to give it a go.if I can do it then you can!
